Affirming care for identity, relationships, and life transitions
Get to Know Colleen
Navigating change, letting go of old narratives. I love helping individuals and couples navigate life’s transitions, deconstruct systems of oppression, and let go of narratives that are no longer serving them. Whether you’re going through a faith transition, exploring your sexuality or gender, moving through a new stage of life, or finding a relationship style that feels right for you, I’m here for it.
Gender and sexuality affirming. As a member of the LGBTQ Therapists Guild, I am gender and sexuality affirming and have experience working with alternative relationship structures like polyamory, consensual non-monogamy, and open relationships. If you’re looking for someone to nerd out with about relationship styles, it’s one of my favorite topics!
Neurodiversity-affirming. I’m also neurodiversity-affirming and enjoy helping clients better understand and embrace the ways their brains work, whether that means navigating Autism, ADHD, trauma responses, or simply figuring out what helps you thrive.
Kind, empathic, and without judgment. You can expect a kind, empathic, and gentle approach from me, without judgment or pressure to fit into someone else’s idea of how your life “should” look. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to offer support, curiosity, and tools to help you move toward the life you want.
Trained across several modalities. I have training in EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and the Gottman Method. I tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals.
Finding the right fit matters. Finding a therapist you can truly be yourself with matters. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll happily help you find someone who is.
