Supervision & Licensing

Many therapists at our practice are "Associate" or "Provisional" licensed, meaning they are earning hours toward full licensure under qualified supervision. This is a standard and well-supported path in the mental health field.

  • Every session is guided and supported by a fully licensed, experienced clinical supervisor
  • You receive the same quality of evidence-based care as with any licensed therapist
  • Associate therapists often have greater availability, making it easier to get started sooner

  • EMI Health (EMI)
  • Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI)
  • Optum / United Behavioral Health (UBH)
  • PEHP Health & Benefits (PEHP)

We also offer an out-of-network option for those without insurance coverage or if your plan is not listed:

  • Individual therapy: $145 for the initial intake session; $125 per session after that
  • Couples therapy: $200 for the initial intake; $150 per session after that

Contact us and we'll review your insurance benefits at no cost. We'll provide an estimate of your out-of-pocket expenses, including what services are covered, your copay or coinsurance, and whether you've met your deductible.

Please note that our estimate is based on the information provided by your insurance company and may not reflect your exact costs. For the most accurate details about your coverage and financial responsibility, we recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card. Ask specifically about your mental health benefits, including:

  • Your deductible and whether it has been met
  • Your copay or coinsurance amount
  • Any session limits
  • Whether a referral or prior authorization is required

Your insurance provider can give you the most current and precise information about your plan.

If you prefer not to use insurance, we also offer private pay options:

  • Individual therapy: $145 for the initial intake session; $125 per session thereafter
  • Couples therapy: $200 for the initial intake session; $150 per session thereafter

Please contact us if you have any questions or would like assistance reviewing your benefits.

Reach out anyway — we may still be able to work with your plan. If we're out-of-network, we can provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

A superbill is a detailed receipt we provide after your session that includes the information your insurance company needs to process an out-of-network reimbursement claim. You submit it directly to your insurer.

We believe everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. We offer private pay options:

  • Individual therapy: $145 for the initial intake session; $125 per session after that
  • Couples therapy: $200 for the initial intake session; $150 per session after that

Contact us to learn more or to discuss alternative payment arrangements.

  • Copay: A fixed amount you pay per session.
  • Coinsurance: A percentage of the session cost you're responsible for after meeting your deductible.
  • Deductible: The amount you pay out-of-pocket before your insurance begins covering services.

Yes. Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected costs for your care.

If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, we will provide a written estimate before your services begin. If your final bill exceeds the estimate by $400 or more, you may have the right to dispute the charge.
