Get to Know Lisa
I believe that therapy is a collaborative and supportive process where healing happens through genuine connection, curiosity, and compassion. I am dedicated to helping individuals heal, grow, and reconnect with their authentic selves. My role is to walk alongside you as we work together to understand your experiences, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change.
I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addiction, life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, and the complexities of personal growth. I have training in trauma-informed care and specialize in helping clients process and heal from difficult life experiences.
My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and EMDR. I use somatic processing techniques to shift how the body holds the energy of our emotions and experiences. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and tailor therapy to meet each person's unique needs, recognizing that healing is not one-size-fits-all.
I believe therapy is a sacred space where you can be deeply seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. Together, we'll explore the stories, beliefs, and patterns that may be keeping you feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Through this collaborative process, we'll uncover your innate resilience and wisdom while developing practical tools to help you move toward a life that feels more balanced, connected, and fulfilling.
Whether you're beginning therapy for the first time or continuing your healing journey, I would be honored to support you in creating meaningful and lasting change.
